7:15 Young Miss Fairest of the Fair Ages 8-9
7:45 Young Miss Fairest of the Fair Ages 10-12
8:15 Jr. Miss fairest of the Fair Ages 13-15
8:45 Miss Fairest of the Fair Ages 16-21 (For ages: 16 and up Please include a 1 paragraph typed Bio for the judges interview.)

1. Pageant is open to all counties in Tennessee with the exception of the following groups: Jr Miss (13-15) & Miss (16-21). The Jr Miss & Miss category contestants must reside in Houston County and/or be enrolled in the Houston County School System.
2. Birthday must coincide with the date of the pageant. Contestants will be judged on Beauty, Poise and Personality.
3. A contestant cannot qualify if she is or has ever been married, currently pregnant or had a child. Contestant cannot have been convicted of any crime/felony.
4. The winner of the 16-21 year age Division must represent Houston County on the state level in January. This person will be given a clothing allowance, entry fee and hotel accommodations to be paid by the Houston County Fair board. This person will forfeit the title on all monies if they become married, pregnant or a felon before the state pageant. You will be representing this county and should always act accordingly.
5. Sportsmanship and manners are required of all contestants and family.
6. Contestants must pay and entry fee of $35.00 Entry fee must accompany application. Deadline for entries in the 2019 Fairest of the Fair is Wednesday, September 18, 2019 (Final registration & practice at 6:00pm at Perdue on this date)
7. Dress attire must be Pageant/Prom Attire.
8. Only the contestant and one chaperone will be admitted to the fair at No charge.
9. Contestant MUST BE DRESSED AND READY 30 MIN PRIOR TO START OF YOUR AGE GROUP.
10. The Winners may be asked to represent Houston County Fair at various events during the year.
11. Alternates: First & Second alternate will receive a trophy
12. Sign up Dates: Tuesday, September 17, 2019 & Wednesday, September 18, 2019 6 pm – 8 pm @ the Houston County Fair Grounds, Perdue Acoustics Building. You may also sign up Monday- Friday 8:00-4:00 at The UT Extension Office in the basement of the courthouse.
13. Entry Deadline: All entries are due by September 18, 2019. Cash, Checks or Money Orders will be acceptable methods of payment for the fees and must be received with the application.

Please remember that pageants are a competition and should be for fun. Unfortunately there can only be one crown per division awarded. The judge’s decisions are final and the directors are not responsible for who is crowned. We ask that the parents please try to set a good example for your children and please use good sportsmanship at all times. Anyone found acting in an inappropriate manner will not be allowed to compete in the next pageant. Thank you for your cooperation.
